Ed Braidwood aka "HIYAFOTO" is a published and exhibited freelance photographer with many years of experience in film and digital formats. Ed has previously exhibited his work at galleries in the UK, Spain, Japan and Australia.
Ed has worked with the periodical Madrid-based magazine "Ventanas Abiertas", which translates to "Open Windows", providing images and short news articles for each edition over four years. See the magazine instagram feed @ventanasabiertasmagazine

Ed's photography journey started as a teenager with a Kodak Instamatic film camera and then taking Photography as an option at high school, where he gained his first experiences of film processing and printing.
In 2015 Ed started to focus on street photography and street portraiture, working in his favourite London locations such as Shoreditch around Brick Lane and Moorgate around the Barbican Estate.
In recent years Ed has broadened his experience to include, medium format and small format film photography alongside digital, each giving their own unique qualities.
